AGB PROCEEDINGS ON 20/11/2015 :-

Today Seventh AGB of our Association was held at Chabildas High School Hall Dadar West. More than 210 members participated in the meeting. The meeting started at 11.15 AM. Annual Report and Audited Accounts were adopted. Com.S.S. Nanda Convenor of Co-Ordination Committee and General Secretary RTOWA Delhi extensively covered all the issues viz., New PPOs for pre 01/04/2014 retirees, Payment of arrears for 69 months to those retired prior to 01/01/2007 due to revision of pension from 01/01/2007, Medical facilities, 78.2% DA in revision of pension on 01/01/2007 etc. The Session concluded at 12.30.

OPEN HOUSE SESSION :-

Session started at 12.30. Shri. Arvindji Sawant M.P. LokSabha was the Chief Guest.

Com. M.K. Bagchi President of RTOWA Delhi, Com.S.S.Nanda GS RTOWA Delhi, Shri.S.P. Rai ED MTNL Mumbai, Shri.A.P.Singh G.M.(Fin), Shri.P.K. Adhikari G.M. (A ), Shri.Ankur Kumar Jt.CCA, Shri.Bhalerao DGM (IR), Shri.V.Padmanathan DGM (Pen), Shri.A.C.Kumar CAO (Pen), Shri.Panchal Sr.AO (Pen), Shri. Ramasundaram AO (Pen), and Office bearers of RTOWA Delhi viz., Com.Shilkumar, Com. R.K. Mudgal, Com.S.N. Pande, and Com.S.K. Bhatia, Office bearers of local Unions and Associations viz., Com.J.S.Yadav, Com.G.N. Haragabal, Com.Virendra Singh, Com.S.S. Singh, Com. Raghavan, Com. T.L.Gaikwad, Com. S.G. Pawar, and Com. C.Mendonca were our Honourable guests.

Our President Shri. K. Jawahar welcomed the guests. Bouquets were offered to the guests by our GS Shri. Badri R. Pathak, and by Shri. M.R.Dixit AGS. Key Note address was delivered by Shri. Badri R.Pathak GS.

Shri.A.P.Singh GM (Fin), Shri.AnkurKumar Jt.CCA spoke about the steps taken by MTNL and CCA to issue PPOs, arrangement for Life Certificate etc.

Shri.Arvindji Sawant released the directory of Members of RTOWA Mumbai and RTOWA Delhi. Members cheered while honouring Shri. M.K.Bagchi and Shri. S.S. Nanda for their life long dedicated services to employees and pensioners with shawl and coconut by Shri. Arvindji Sawant. Shri.S.S. Nanda gave a brief about the Directory and Shri.M.K. Bagchi gave a brief about his long innings of service to Associations.

Shri.Arvindji Sawant spoke elaborately, informatively and inspiringly on all the issues. He emphasised on achieving 78.2% DA for fixation of pay and pension on 01/01/2007. Com.M.K. Bagchi gave the concluding speech emphasising the freedom and strength of the Associations to identify the issues, and to pursue the issues by all means at right time to safeguard the interests of employees and pensioners.

The meeting concluded with vote of thanks by Shri. M.R. Dixit AGS.
